Quantum Information in the Mainstream

It looks as if quantum information is starting to enter the mainstream: US News and World Report has an article on using diamonds for quantum memory.

    Just read the book "The Traveler", by John Twelve Hawks. I would give it 2 stars, but thought it was 'main$tream' to see Quantum theory referenced in a book I picked up for leisure reading.
